A highway, easy to find and follow. Marked as 125m on my maps.

I have done this portage many times over the years and the north entrance can be difficult to get to in low water. Requires some wading in the water to pull you canoe through the rock garden. Otherwise the rest of the portage is a nice, easy walk through a green / not burned forest.

The only notable points I recall about this, and the next in line towards Kilburn was that they had poor landings. Nothing impossible, just small and with little area to get in/out. That and the hornets nest hanging head height in a tree immediately beside the trail on one.... walked carefully there.
