This was a beautiful portage the last time I saw it in 2020, but it was burned in 2021 and is now recovering. You can still see the old worn path but it is getting covered up by the green underbrush that is getting thick. It took me sometime to clear and make passable with a handsaw. I added some orange flagging tape at both entrances and along the trail. The waterfall is high for this area and I would guess that these falls are the highest in the Park. It was a low water year in 2025 so I could even walk right up to the edge of the drop.
