I was going west to east on this portage in 2025. I found the west end alright and the rest of the trail was not so bad with only a few trees down. But then I got to the east side and found it completed block with large downed trees that were burned in the last forest fire. They fell perpendicular to the shoreline. I could not cut them and had to climb over them to get to Paull. There was not much I could do with a handsaw. This will require a chainsaw crew to make it usable again.
