This portage is marked correctly on the north side of the creek, but is actually part of a longer 500m portage that includes the one to the east. Refer to the Chrismar WCPP map for the correct location and distance. I cross paths with a WCPP portage clearing crew heading west to Bigshell, so this is now cleared and marked at both entrances. But this route is rarely used so expect more trees to come down. Come prepared with a handsaw.
