*2024 Update*: This portage was burned in 2021 and was re-routed a couple of years ago back up in the trees around the bog. But this changed back to the bog by the last WCPP chainsaw crew. It makes it shorter and is smarter since only more black standing dead trees will be coming down over the years. The bog avoids this. It was very dry when I walked it.

Update 2023: Measured at almost 600m now and avoids the worst of the bog through a burn. Challenging conditions but passable.
