*2024 Update*: I was heading east and found that this portage was re-routed further west starting on an exposed flat outcrop of bedrock, not on the beach. I marked it with a rock cairn. The black standing dead trees are still falling over. Bring a saw. *2023 Update*: This portage burned in 2021, therefore many black standing dead trees at the north entrance for the first half of the portage. I marked it with flagging and added some rock cairns to make it easier to follow. Expect more trees to come down in the next few years. Both entrances now have rock cairns so finding it is easy.

Measured at 450 meters with the GPS, still burned and still challenging but easier than the previous two from Crystal Lake.
