*2024 Update*: I used this portage for the second time and found this area was burned again in 2021. All the post 2016 fire re-growth was burned down to the ground, so an open field again. I found most of the old rock cairns marking the path. Both entrances are marked orange flagging. This portage is not used much. 2020: Wide open portage in the middle due to 2016 fire. Follow the stone cairns. I cleaned up the dead fall and marked it with new flagging in 2020. Underbrush is growing back thick so watch your footing.

East end is in small bay at south end of long granite slope, marked by crossed sticks dangling from a tree. Some up and down, but easy. (measured at 323 metres)
