Similar to the portage to the south, I was only guessing as to where this portage was? I think it is on the east side of the creek? The last fire took out everything and nobody has been here since, so the underbrush is growing back thick (see photo). No evidence of cut logs, blue flagging (Why does the Park use blue flagging?), or rock cairns. I hung some orange flagging at both entrances to help the next paddler, but that is about all I could do to improve it. It will need some chainsaw work from the Park staff to make it more usable. But this route is not use much by paddlers so not a high priority.
