This portage was burned by the 2021 fire so numerous standing dead trees. I cleaned it up with a handsaw and added some rock cairns, so it is now passable and easy to follow. But expect more trees to come down in the future, so come prepared. Rock cairns mark both entrances on the west side of the creek.
