The Park chainsaw cleaned this portage in 2025. I don't recall having to cut a single tree off the trail. I freshened up the tree blazes at both entrances so it should be easy to see from the water. It is easy to follow and only one climb up and down a rocky ridge.

The north half of this portage is fairly wet. The portage has lots of ups and downs and could be considered more difficult than average. There was also lots of blowdown on this portage in 2020 which made it more challenging.
