This portage survived the 2021 fire so it is easy to follow. Both are ends are also now marked up with tree blazes and easy to find. *2025 Update* Portage is still clear and easy to use/follow. I had a young black bear sneak up on me on the north side while I was loading up. Scared the pants off me. He slowly wandered away after much shouting and use of a bear banger. Hopefully he/she does not bother you....

This is a relatively straight forward portage. Map shows a small creek about halfway through the portage but it is just a trickle.
