I agree with the earlier post. When going south paddle down the creek until it bends to the west. I added some orange flagging tape so it should be easy to find. The Park cleared this portage before I made the trek, but I still had to clear some deadfall that had come down. I freshened the tree blazes at the south entrance, so it is easy to find.

This portage was difficult to find from the north in low water. Paddle down little creek until you get to the heavy alders. Contrary to what’s shown on this site, the portage actually starts where the creek bends to the west (about 250 metres or so down the creek). The Chrismar map shows it correctly. The portage starts in muck on east side of creek. The first part of portage is wet. Pretty level and dry after that. The south end outlets onto a sandy beach on Linge. There was a fair amount of blowdown on this portage in 2020.
