2025 was a very dry year, so I had to use this portage for the first time. Easy to find at both ends. Just look for the break in the trees. This was not burned in the last forest fire. The underbrush is growing back thick so watch your footing.

I was able to avoid this portage by getting out and walking my canoe through a couple of shallow sections of this stream. I was heading downstream though, might be a bit more effort to pull through heading upstream. Water seemed a bit high in 2020 when I passed through.
