This portage was burned again by the 2021 fire, so expect dead fall to keep coming down. I cleaned it up the best I could with a handsaw and added cairns / orange flagging, so it is fairly easy to follow once on the path. The west entrance is marked with orange flagging. The path goes up and over a couple of granite ridges. The last 100m on the east side is on flat plain/dry bog that has thick underbrush / willows growing back, so look for the rock cairns and my orange flagging to guide the way. I could not build a cairn on the east side entrance, so look for my tree blaze on the only green tree and orange flagging. Lots of blueberries in late August.....
