The 2021 forest fire burned this portage again, so the re-growth has started again after recovering from the 2016 fire. The old trail is hard to see due to the fire. Look for rock cairns and cut logs to guide the way. I marked the west entrance with a rock cairn. The east entrance is hard to spot from the water. Look for the break in the under brush on the south shore approximately 100m before the end of this bay. I marked it with some orange flagging tape.
