I took some time and knocked back some of the tag alder growing thick on this portage on the NE side by the swamp. I also had to drag my canoe out the open water when going northeast. You can at least stand on the floating bog without sinking in.

The creek to the NE of the portage was very low for us and we ended up carrying closer to 150 meters here over floating bog. Otherwise it's a very nice and obvious carry! :)
