In my quest to see every portage in WCPP, I had to do an out and back trip north to see this portage and the 325 m one north of Poodle Lake. This portage has not seen either a WCPP chainsaw tech crew for a few years or paddlers. I spent some time marking the trail with orange flagging and cutting dead fall off the trail to make it passable. It was hard to find in spots due the lack of use and post forest fire undergrowth coming back thick.
