Easy to spot landings on both ends marked with giant yellow reflective signs. This portage is moderately difficult with multiple hills and a crossing of a major paved road. It is not terribly long and there is very nice beach on the Lost Canoe Lake end.

The only maintained NHAL portage of any length. Lost Canoe end gently rises, then a little up and down, crossing County Highway K, and a steep(ish) rocky landing at White Sand.
