Thus the start of Mckenzie Maps really struggling in this chain of lakes. We struggled to find this one initially, but the paddle planner location is close. This portage was brushy again, but not all that bad.

A couple of significant climbs and several miserable mud holes with potential for knee deep. Foot placement is key. At least the landings were decent, and there was an obstructed overview of Sebeka and the trail traced around the rim of a steep scenic gorge near that end as well.

Once you were past the hill it was easy. Still overgrown.
