This portage is flat, level and easy, except for the first fifty metres on the Quetico Lake side; the landing there is beachy and flat, but the trail starts in a mucky, tick-ridden area. Some logging relics in the trees at the Cirrus end if you take the time to poke around.

Easy to find from both sides and good landings/launch points. Gentle climb from both landings and good swimming on the north side.
