I didn't find this one particularly difficult; it does have some incline but is generally in good shape. A sidenote on Trail Creek, which anyone using this portage will presumably pass through. It is not paddleable, but a canoe can be pushed through. The ground on either side of the channel is root-bound enough for mostly reliable stepping. If you're traveling with two people per boat, it's traversable with a little additional effort, but you'll want to allot time accordingly. Solo I imagine would be markedly tougher but still feasible. My experience reflects late June in a very dry year.

A real ball -buster. Partner and I agreed it was definitely harder than Badwater portage. Up, up, up going east to west. Don't believe the elevation chart is correct!
