This portage was a relief after the messes of the Bellaire portages. Downhill was nice, going from McKenzie Lake into McKenzie Bay/Kawnipi.

The beginning of the portage (from the McKenzie side) can be hard to spot and we had to take some time to comb the shore to find it. Other than that, there is some blowdown along the way and it is very downhill coming the way we did (may not be as nice for people travelling from Kawnipi).
