With high water in May of 2026 it took me a few minutes to find the portage on the Nan/creek side. There is some flagging tape. The portage followed a flowing creek. Once you get off the creek trail and back into the trees, continue past the rapids/falls flowing into the creek and the portage ends at the beach site on Fred. Some old artifacts on the Fred side.
