Allen creek is a challenging adventure. The portage has lots blown trees due to the 2022 fire. Due to lack of traffic there was no visible portage path. There was a few orange ribbons left by the portage crew but most of them were on the ground covered with new growth. Coming from the east, the portage is on the right side of the creek. Finding the west end was challenging but made sense after it was found.
