Swamp comment is bang-on - the McDougall end is ~150m of swamp but with good corduroy. The track from PaddlePlanner is incorrect - the trail is one bay west of where it shows here. Easy to find though, so just paddle one bay over and you'll find it. There is also 21 meters of elevation gained from EAG to McDougall.

All I remember of this portage was the the last 250m north into McDougall was swamp. You will not have dry shoes.
