Some maps show this portage starting in the NE corner of the bay. There are even a couple of false trails in the bay. The actual portage is on the point, not in the bay. Otherwise, the portage is about as easy as they come - straight and level.

Seemed pretty straightforward. Pretty easy walk in the woods although the path seemed narrow in places.
