THE HARDEST THING WE'VE EVER DONE. Like maybe ever. If there is a traditional portage, we could not find it and we even looked for it - a lot. I seriously thought we were lost when considering this direction even though the map told us this was the way. We had to walk up the ultra rocky, mucky, log jammed, mosquito infested stream/waterfall. It was miserable. We then were rewarded with a bog AND a beaver dam which we had to climb over. We could only carry one pack each and both had to work to carry the canoe. It literally took 2 hrs to go this distance. Given the above, I think it goes without saying, this was the hardest / worst portage of the entire trip easily twofold.
