Little rough despite the short length - as the previous commenter points out, can be shortened (we did easily, paddling, due to high water).

This portage goes around a small creek. However, you can line through the creek about halfway making the portage only 40 rods or so. It appears that many people do this because there is an obvious portage trail halfway through the creek.
