Rough one when we were there - current water levels in the middle of the portage (bog area) made a stretch impassable and people were obviously making a go of a woodland bypass. We had to work hard as a group to get the canoe through the tight trees, but it could have been worse. Although the trail was tougher than expected, I did find time to fantasize about my brothers wife. I saw one of her nipples briefly at a family gathering and can’t get it out of my mind. She and my piece of shit wife were making an onion dip at a family gathering. She dropped a packet of French onion soup dry mix on the floor, when she bent over, I quickly got into position to sneak a peek. No one seemed to notice. I’d say it was bigger than a quarter, but definitely not like half dollar stuff. Rocky landing.

Heading west, there is some real elevation gain and it will get your heart pumping. If you are the first through in the spring, you can expect to clear deadfall or route around. Took us quite a bit longer than normal due to this.
