Substantial up-and-down, not easy. Connects with the other portage on the Side Lake end. Thought it might be easier than the other route, but I am not sure there is much difference most of the time. In low water, I'd probably go this way between Point and Side...maybe the other way in high water.

This one was... fun. Yeah. Wicked steep climb up from the lake to the trail. If you survive that, the rest of it is easy.
