when coming from the north (lerome) the portage is to the left of the falls. it is steep uphill but very short. easy landing on lerome side. rocky landing on the south end of the portage that can be sketchy depending on water levels.

A short well maintained portage, but very steep and winding. We found it easier to just two man the canoes through here.

South to north, single canoe entry. Easy, brief, rocky uphill then uneven downhill to wide, open put-in on Lerome Lake. Good view of small falls at north end.
