BWCA Portage 663 (Perent River)

Since there is a large protruding rock that looks like a frog's head sticking out of the east hillside just downstream of this portage, a friend of mine dubbed this Frog Rock portage. That fact is really the only noteworthy aspect to mention as the portage itself is extremely flat and easily negotiated. Landings (on east side) may be a little mushy on both ends. As is typically the case, the pool where the rapids wash out should prove worthy of wetting your line.
