BWCA Portage 797 (Disappointment to Parent)

This is an easy enough portage, as things go. Each end is a little rocky. The Disappointment Lake side is particularly awkward for loading without getting wet feet. The trails at each end are a little confusing due to the crossing by the Snowbank trail, but just a little attention will prevent errors. The little bridge over the creek is a nice upgrade from some other portages.

The group was a little cranky at this point. A bunch of time spent in the rain today, and a completely full Disappointment Lake, sent us to Parent looking for a site. Portage isn't bad from Disappointment to Parent. A little wet for us on the Disappointment end, but it had been raining all day.

Trail was decent, nothing you don't expect. Small stream follows/crosses the trail toward the Disapointment lake end. There's a pretty area about 25-30 rods from disapointment lake thats worth seeing even if youre not headed that way.
