There were some open water stretches on either end of this one in January which infers some moving water. The west end is at a beaver dam. This valley is very scenic and this portage trail is not difficult.

Level weedy path but, the Frederick end is exceedingly rocky.

The creek between Zenith and Frederick is very shallow. The get out point at the portage is poor and very rocky.
