Any one going into Swartman Lake will probably want to camp there.  We found a suitable place to camp on the east shore near the north end of the lake.  No place for a fire pit but it was suitable for a hammock and a tent.  We spotted what we thought was a fire ring on a rock outcropping on the east shore near the island.  We were headed out of the lake and did not check it out. The pictographs are on the west side of the lake N48.29856 W91.23358

The bushwhack into Poulin Lake was on the east side of the creek and very easy. The bushwhack into the creek at the south end of Poulin was also fairly easy.  The creek was fairly easy with the usual down trees and beaver dams.

We called the lake at the upstream end of the creek Wot Lake (West Of Turn). The West section we called Wot1 the center section Wot2 and the eastern section Wot3.  Wot1 and 3 are 50 foot deep and Wot2 is 16 food deep.  There is a 4 star camp on Wot2 on north east short.  Just up the hill a little way from  the landing is a well maintained moose path that goes path a couple of hammock pads and then to a large flat viewing area overlooking the lake. Behind the viewing area is a fairly open wooded area for tents and tarps. The camp site is at N48.25561 W91.23270 .

It’s a 4 hour bushwhack to get from Wot3 to Turn Lake.
