I honestly have no idea how someone was able to break this fire grate. The rock "alter" was chinked with mud, so there was no way to bring air in underneath, I wonder if the winds are really that bad here, or if folks have just kept adding rocks out of boredom. There are plenty of places to put pots, plans, and utensils, however.
