The landing is a smooth rock and is fairly easy to use. A downed tree near the landing caused some minor issues, but it did not prevent access.
The campsite itself appears seldom used. There is tall grass throughout the site and only a faint trail leading to the latrine.
I found two tent pads that I would consider good, though fitting two tents would be tight. With two small tents it would work, but with one large tent, that would likely be all the space available. The kitchen has very little view and feels closed in and protected.

Could not find fire grate, not sure this site could be used at all.

9/21/23 Update. This was my first BWCA campsite 10 years ago and I rated it 4 stars. See my original comments below. 10 years later, I have to say my original assessment was way off. There are sloped tent pads, enough for 2 tents. The actual campsite isn't that large and now the kitchen view is obstructed by multiple deadfall on the water. All in all, nostalgia wasn't enough to make me stay here. We moved to the island. I'm grateful for the memories of my first trip, but there are much nicer campsites in the BWCA. That said, Adams Lake is beautiful. _____________________9/5/2013 Large site with plenty of room for the 8 guys on our trip. Good fishing on Adams too. Site includes a nice rock shelf down by the water which was excellent for watching the stars on a warm September night.
