Campsite is on a hill but the fire pit has a nice flat spot for cooking. Plenty of trees right around the cooking area so you can hang a tarp to stay out of the rain or hang hammocks. We only needed one tent pad but we counted 3 that looked good and probably could've had a 4th in a pinch. Water drops off, so loading/unloading could be a bit difficult in a low water year. Biggest complaint was how close to the north campsite it was. We didn't have a sound issue with our neighbors to the north, just a decent amount of traffic going by. Looked like there was a path that had been walked between the campsites, though we didn't walk down it to find out.

Spent a few days at this site. There was garbage everywhere, the worst neglect of common sense I've seen in my 25 BWCA visits. Multiple whole oranges around the site, orange peels in the fire pit, a burnt 24-30 oz can sitting next to the fire pit, women's feminine products next to the toilet, bits of garbage strewn about. Whoever camped before us had issues... The actual campsite wasn't bad, but it was too close to others. If you walk a bit down the shore to the south you'd see a campsite across the lake, walk 300 yards north and you'd be in another campsite...not ideal. There were at least 5 canoe landings, some better than others. We had 4 canoes and each had it's own spot comfortably. There are not many large trees to hang food and keep it out of the sun. Not a great site, but liveable.

Most of the site is on a hill, it is flattened out in the kitchen area and some tent pads. Good view of lake and nice sitting area around fire, good trees for hammocks.

Campsite is not the easiest to put in and take out at, there is a quick drop-off and has large rocks. There seems to be an educated snapper around, so watch the fishing stringers :) Actual Campsite is located slightly north and west of this location, but it is relatively accurate. There are two small islands slight NW of campsite
