This campsite is an open, grassy area along the shoreline and sits fairly low to the water. It is not elevated like many other sites. The site is lined with jack pines and cedars along the shore. Shade is limited in the afternoon, but the openness should allow for a breeze, especially with west winds. I found one good tent pad down a short trail from the kitchen. It appears to have a hole in the middle that could likely be filled in. There is another tent spot near the landing that would work, though it is not quite as good. The kitchen has a decent view of the lake, and this area of Polly Lake should be relatively quiet.
