The landing is rocky, but the sandy bottom made it easy to step out of the canoe. The kitchen has a nice view of the lake. The tent pads vary in quality, and tent staking may be difficult due to shallow soil. The surrounding forest appears mostly dead, which detracts from the overall feel. I found three good tent pads and space for additional tents if needed. Watch for potential widowmakers.
