Great site for a family or smaller group unless using hammocks. There are two great level tent pads and 2 more that are either small or sloped. Lots of hammock options, we hung ours in the cedars and pines by the canoe landing. The landing isn't great and probably the worst part of the site. You COULD unload at the rocks by the fire pit, but then you're hauling them more straight up and there isn't canoe parking there. The fire grate is a B with good logs to sit on with firewood storage and a good view of the lake from the fire pit, but its odd that the firegrate is rotated 90 degrees from the lake front which I think is due to the sloped rock it is on. There are a lot of "levels" on the site which is neat and offers some privacy for the different tent pads and also gives the site some diversity throughout the day. The site is more secluded with cedars along the lake with an opening at the canoe landing and one at the fire grate with GREAT views of the sunset. Decent tarp trees behind the fire grate, but could also string one over it if needed. The rocks in front of the firegrate are awesome for sun bathing, swimming, and fishing. Good bear bag tree just north of the site. The brown volcano is at the top of "poo mountain" as we called it, but once up there its quite nice and its a fancy one with a lid. The site doesn't get direct sunlight until around noon, but still offers shade at all times of the day depending where you are in the site.. there was also a good breezes from the south, west, and north which helped keep any bugs at bay (not many as it is NOT a swampy area). We heard wolves at night, beavers tail slapping, and watched the resident camp mouse my son named "scampsters".

The landing is difficult. It is rocky with no flat spots and sits among cedars, requiring careful footing. The campsite itself is better than some nearby options. The kitchen has a semi-obstructed view of the lake, but there are nice sitting rocks along the shoreline in front of the site. I found two good tent pads, both of which are comfortable and usable. This is a solid, mid-range campsite if you are comfortable with a challenging landing.

Nice camps site, Rocky landing large boulders. Lots of traffic in front of the campsite. Conditions were poor when we stayed so we were not able to explore much.

This campsite is in a more secluded part of Lake Polly. There is a great sloping rock for sitting and sunning. Plentiful firewood. 3 stars instead of 4, because the tent sites are adequate, but a bit sloped.
