The landing is a narrow, flat rock. I was able to parallel park the canoe, though it was not as easy as some other landings.
The kitchen has a nice view of the lake, but the campsite is located right next to a portage, so it will likely see frequent traffic. There are several downed trees throughout the site.
I found one very large, flat, good tent pad. The other possible tent pads are rocky or rooty and would be less comfortable, though you could fit additional tents if needed. Overall, this is a usable campsite with a good view, but its proximity to the portage and limited quality tent pads are drawbacks.

This campsite was not impacted by the burn and is surrounded by older growth trees. We did not stop here, but paddled close by it to and from the portage on the south end of Polly. It seemed nice enough from the lake
