This is a very small, sheltered, protected campsite. The landing is on the south side of the peninsula and is narrow, a little brushy, and slightly awkward, but once I landed, I could pull the canoe up fairly easily. The path from the landing is long and wide enough to store a canoe off to the side. The campsite itself is surrounded by brush and trees on all sides. In the main campsite area there is one large jack pine, along with a few spruce trees and a couple of red pines, but the big jack pine is the main tree feature. There is not much to the site beyond the fire grate, and there was no seating around it. The entire main camp area is roughly a 30-foot circle.
There are two possible tent pads, one good and one not as good, so I would call it one good tent pad and two maximum tent pads. This is a no-frills site that would work if needed, but it is compact and very sheltered.

Good site: out of the way - not much traffic other than folks looking for a site. Stayed here 2 nights because it was so busy. Nice spot for fishing and swimming near the landing.
