Visited this campsite for one night. Loved being across the water from Dorthy Molters islands. Nice level tent pads. A little uphill from the waters edge. No beach or anything. Landing the canoe in about knee high water (the water levels were a little high this summer) We pulled the canoe up into the "garage" just to the left of the landing. Worked perfectly. We didn't have a lot of good trees to set up the bear line for the food bags. But it worked. Latrine was freshly moved and so a bit muddy. Straight uphill and to the left of the fire pit. Overall a great campsite!

Landed here after the portages from Moose Lake. We weren't sure about it at first, but it's a good site! Landing is more of a "side parking" situation, but easy. It made for easy in-and-out while swimming. Steps up to the site are worth it. The site is flat and open for a breeze. A grouping of trees made for easy hanging of tarp/bug net. The latrine was a bit difficult to find, and it was just okay. It could use a lid to keep the odor from drifting into camp on a still day.

Nice site well above landing. trail leads to latrine and if you keep going there is a landing that provides excellent views of the lake.

With a big open spot for 3-4 tents, this site is good for groups. I noticed it had been abused, when I went to find a spot to hang my hammock (2, maybe 3 hammocks possible btw) and found spots where branches had been cut off live trees. I felt bad for hanging on the tree but it seemed healthy despite the butchery. There's a bit of a climb up to the latrine but it's not too bad, and if you keep going you can get a nice view of the lake. Bald eagles calling out in the morning during my travel out day made me want to stay in the BWCA for just one more day, but thunderstorms were coming for our last 2 days so we decided to leave early. Decent site, just feel bad about the abused trees.

Landing is rocky. Campsite is well above landing, and catches the wind easily, especially the firepit area. Tent area is huge (good for groups) but was a little soggy when we where there from recent rain. Paths from camp lead to nice views.

The tent pad area is a big, open, level area. There is a good swimming rock in front of the campsite. The landing is average - not hard to get too, but not easy, either. The kitchen has a large seating area. There is not much shade at the campsite. As a bonus, there is a short trail up to an overlook with a great view of the lake.
