This campsite has an excellent view from a rock point looking toward the southeast part of the lake. It is quite the view, and I am sure the point gets a good breeze that would help keep bugs away.
The landing is a little rocky and somewhat tough to navigate, but it is not too bad. From there, it is a short hike up to the tent pad area under white pines, where the ground is covered in pine duff.
There are three tent pads in that area. Two are on pine duff, and another is in a small grassy area. One of them is a little uneven, but still pretty good, and the other two are decent.
The kitchen sits a couple more feet up and closer to the lake, out on the rock point, with 180-degree views of the entire end of Kekekabic Lake. There is shade in the tent pad area, but not much on the rock point itself. The white pines are the trees I noticed most, with a couple of small, scraggly jack pines near the kitchen.

Excellent campsite. There is an open star-gazing hill a short walk west from camp.

Got here in high early June winds and had some white knuckle moments with waves and gusts from the southeast. We cut into the wind twice and landed at this site. We were a little beat from the wind and 4 portages from Knife and the waves on Kek. Little did we realize this site was really nice. There is a good amount of room for tents and a nice common area as well. The fire area is indeed exposed to wind, but holy buckets is that view gorgeous. Fishing from shore with rattle raps yielded 2 nice 18" lakers and just 150ft northeast of the landing and only 30ft from shore at a 30-80ft dropoff we caught 4 good 16-18" lakers in the rain with jigs and white twister tails. Got a bite every other cast, was pretty excellent! This site is gorgeous, has an incredible view, and has access to some excellent fishing right nearby. I will stay here again if I come to Kek.

Spent 4 nights here mid-May and this site is as good as others mention!
The site is very susceptible to an east and SE wind, making it hard to have a fire, cook and launch/land canoes.
We were able to load canoes and launch in the little bay to the north.

Great view from the grate. Nice area tucked up against the edge of camp for tarp. Easy landing unless the wind is from the East. Amazing views from an overlook above the site. seems like there is a trail connecting it to its northern neighbor site.

Awesome site! Nice canoe landing. The firgrate area did not provide the greatest seating, but there was a great open elevated view in 3 directions. Also there was a very well sheltered kitchen area away from the firegrate, complete with log benches and 2 flat stumps for tables. Plenty of good tent pads. We had loons swim by 20-30 out from shore every evening. Good fishing around the islands to the SE.
