This is a small, low-lying campsite. The kitchen is only a foot or two above the water and maybe 10 feet back from shore.
The main camp area itself was dry when I visited, but the landing and canoe storage area were wet. The landing is a small opening into a grassy, swampy area.
It is not too bad for pulling the canoe up, and there is a place to store the canoe there, but it is too wet to use for tenting. The kitchen is very close to the landing and has shade from cedars along the shoreline. Most of the campsite is rocky and on a slight slope.
There is one good tent pad, though it is not great, and one additional possible spot. The second spot is small and not completely level, so it is borderline.
The main tent pad is under cedars and should get some shade during the day. Most of the trees in and around camp are cedars, with the occasional red pine mixed in. It is a picturesque little site, but it is too small for a large group or a large tent.

Small site, much better than the one to the west. Pretty view from on top of the hill/cliff.

2 tent pads. nice kitchen area. reasonable shade. caught a few from the shore. caught a 7.1 lb northern and a good amount of nice eating size small mouth bass in Eddy Lake. The water falls on the portage are great.
