This campsite sits high up on a cliff with an amazing view all around. The site itself is on top of the cliff, with white pines surrounding it and providing shade, ambiance, and pine duff around the tent pads.
The best landing is on the north side of the cliff face, where there is a place to pull up and store canoes. It is still a fairly good hike up to the site with gear, but the climb is worth it. On top, the campsite is an open area with plenty of seating near the fire grate.
I counted three good tent pads, though one is clearly the best and the other two are a little lumpy or slightly slanted. A fourth tent could also fit somewhere up there if needed. This site has nearly everything I look for: white pines, big views, elevation, a breeze to help with bugs, and enough shade. It also looked like there may be good swimming at the bottom of the cliff, with stairs leading down and deeper water below.

Very nice site with 3-4 good tent pads. Located on top of a rocky peninsula this site had a nice breeze, great views and lots of spots for swimming. Rode out a major storm at this site and managed to keep (mostly) dry. Toilet area is a bit overgrown with brush but other wise a great place to camp!
