This site is highly overlooked and has a lot going for it. 10 minutes paddle to the east are some of the nicest pictographs in the park. Within 3 football throws to the east of this site the water drops off and the walleye fishing is fantastic. To the west is quick access to Artery Lake. The site is out of the wind which could be it's biggest downfall from a bug standpoint. There were a few deadfalls which we cut up into firewood and this opened up the site a bit. With just a little bit of work this site could be even better. A 4 star maybe given how near it is to pictographs and fishing.
