I stayed here for a night in 2026 and liked this campsite. Perfect for one tent. Nice fire pit to use if there is not a fire ban in effect (there was for me...). There is another fire pit / campsite further west on the island, but this is the better spot of the two. Many trees to hang a kitchen tarp from.

This is the first viable site when traveling west from Larus. I would ordinarily rate it a 2 star site, but give it an extra half star as it is one of only 2 usable site in the general area. There is only one real tent pad currently, but another pad could be fashioned in an area covered with long grass and fire weed.

Very nice site. Room for a couple of tents. There could be more tent pads created by cleaning up some blowdown. Was visited by a bear at this site in 2021, but it left without incident.
