2023 Update: I stopped here and got out to take a look around. Unfortunately the 2021 fire torched this island. Many large burnt dead trees down and standing widow makers. This will require chainsaw work to make it usable again. Sad....I really liked this spot before the fire and was impressed with the fire pit. I gave it one star because of this fire pit.

Entire island appears to have burned. Did not stop for a closer look due to strong winds.
